Petition Action

Call An Immediate General Election

Petition Details

Call an immediate General Election so the public can decide who should govern the country following significant shifts in political support shown in the May 2026 local elections and growing public dissatisfaction with the current Government.

Additional Information

Recent local election results showed major shifts in public opinion, including significant gains for Reform UK and losses for Labour and other established parties. Many voters feel the current Government no longer reflects the priorities or confidence of the public. Holding a General Election would allow people across the UK to democratically choose the direction they want the country to take and help restore trust in politics and Parliament.
