Remove VAR from English football
Abolish VAR from English football
VAR does not remove human error and therefore is no different than the referee’s initial interpretation of an event that occurs in real time. That statement in itself makes VAR irrelevant and therefore it should be scrapped. Football has been refereed for hundreds of years without 3rd part interference why now should an individual decide the fate of football city’s and clubs after several inconclusive replays with no recourse for appeal. This affects not just results of games but the livelihoods of many.
