Tougher Laws and Longer Sentences for Domestic Violence Crimes
Women should not have to live in fear while offenders receive minimal consequences. Increase sentencing and protection for victims of domestic abuse, coercive control, stalking, harassment and violence against women.
Too many women live with lifelong trauma caused by domestic abuse, coercive control, stalking and harassment, while offenders often receive minimal consequences or early release. Women deserve stronger protection and sentencing that reflects the seriousness and lasting impact of these crimes.
