Temperatures while at work
My self and thousands of other workers find it unbearable to work in 30 degree heat especially in hospitality as in kitchens it can reach 45+degrees Celsius
People with certain health conditions can not work within these temperatures, I suggest as a worker that there should be guidelines
Working in temperatures of 30°C without proper cooling and ventilation is not just uncomfortable — it can seriously affect people’s health, safety, and ability to work effectively. Prolonged exposure to heat can cause dehydration, dizziness, headaches, exhaustion, and even heatstroke, especially in physically demanding jobs or enclosed spaces. High temperatures also reduce concentration and productivity, increasing the risk of mistakes and workplace accidents.
