Deliver better opportunites for young people living in North West England
We would like for young people living across the North West to have better access to work, transport, community centres, easily accessable mental health services, and youth intervention in deprived areas across Manchester & Liverpool, where the lack of opportunity leads to a life of crime.
For too long, young people across the North West of England have been subjected to very little opportunities & have no real aspirations and where they want to go in life. This is due to the neglect the region has been receiving, compared to, for example, the Midlands or the South of England. The lack of opportunities for young people makes it easier for them to fall into a life of crime, which ultimately leads to a never ending cycle of offending, the justice system, and prison sentences.
