End the banning of social media for minors and use of ID age verification
A complete ban is impractical and has many negative fall off effects such as lack of engagement within communities which can help build a child's social life. I want ALL discussions for this ban to be discontinued and for alternative solutions that don't risk personal data to be discussed
I agree that cyber bullying is very problematic, however banning social media is not an appropriate way to go about this. Considering the modern world and the future ahead, banning social media for minors can heavily restrict their ability to communicate with different forms of people and cultures, lessening their ability to learn. As well as this, the age verification systems that store IDs have no guaranteed safety for those who aren't minors. For the safety of your own future, please sign.
