Ban Face Coverings at Public Protests and Marches

Additional Information

Ban face coverings, masks, balaclavas and any item used to conceal identity at public protests, marches and demonstrations. Anyone choosing to protest publicly should be identifiable and accountable for their actions. Concealing identity can intimidate others, undermine transparency and hinder the identification of individuals involved in criminal offences, public disorder, harassment or vandalism. Public protest should be open, visible and accountable.
