Keep the Dartmoor ponies on the Dartmoor.
The Dartmoor ponies shouldn’t have to be threatened to come off of their original grazing area where they have been for centuries.
The Dartmoor ponies, who have been a staple to English culture for centuries, shouldn’t have to be threatened with slaughter to come off of the moors they’ve grazed on for hundreds of years. For example, by doing this, the government are taking away their ability to graze through tough, invasive vegetation (e.g purple moor grass) that other livestock avoid on the moors, this helps prevent wildfires, and allow a large variety of plants and insects to thrive in the environment.
