Ban drink / hydration breaks within Premier League football in England
We, the undersigned football fans, players, and purists, call on the Government, Premier League and The FA to officially ban any implementation of mandatory, blanket hydration breaks during matches.
We, the undersigned football fans, players, and purists, call on the Government, Premier League and The FA to officially ban the implementation of mandatory, blanket hydration breaks during matches. While we fully support prioritising player health and safety during genuinely extreme temperatures, making mid-half water stoppages mandatory in all conditions severely compromises the integrity, pacing, and tradition of English football.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about hydration breaks in the Premier League are a matter for The Premier League and the FA, not the UK Government or Parliament.
