CONSCRIPT UNEMPLOYED YOUNG MEN INTO THE ARMY
I propose that any male between the age of 18 and 25, not in full time education, who has been unemployed for a continuous period of 6 months and who has not been in full time employment for a continuous period of 3 months in the previous 12 months should be conscripted into the army.
Angry young unemployed men roam our streets looking for an outlet for they testosterone fuelled anger and frustration. They need direction and guidance to manage the journey through adolescence. Providing a youth club and a ping pong table isn’t going to satisfy that need; a place on the front line in Afghanistan will.
