Tougher Prison Sentences
Perhaps bringing the death penalty back is a step too far, however the Government has the responsibility to protect victims and their families; and therefore life should be life (25 years is not life!), age should not be an issue when sentencing especially if it is murder, rape sentences should be longer (rape is rape Mr Clarke!), and the British people should feel that they are being protected from criminals rather than the Government is protecting those responsible for the crime in our country. Think of the families who have to live knowing their relatives' murderer will be walking the streets in less then 15 years.
