Olympic site legacy
The government should halt its exclusive negotiations with Delancey and Qatari Diar, and instead agree to hand the Olympic Park to the charitable Wellcome Foundation in accordance with its £1bn offer. This would provide an early repayment of public investment and facilitate the development of a science and technology park, rather than breaking up the site and allowing it to be handled by an off-shore sovereign fund and a property company of a mere 15 years' standing.
