House Sale laws should be same as scotland
I would like to have the same right as people in Scotland that when someone makes an offer on your property and has survey and at that point once they confirm the price, it should be legally binding as in Scotland and if they want to pull out they then have to pay to buy themselves out of the contract. In England you have up to the point of exchange contracts and still you can pull out without any financial penalties. Even though the seller has also spent on getting new mortgage and if lost a fine of £150 plus and any surveys or removals companies and solicitors fees to be paid by the seller.
