Carers Allowance should be increased to National Minimum Wage Rates
Carers Allowance should be increased to National Minimum Wage Rates. At present carers in the UK are paid £55.55 per week but must care for at least 35 hours per week. This amounts to £1.97 per hour. Carers Allowance should be increased to £207.55 in line with National Minimum Wage Rates.
