This House has No Confidence in the Governments Law and order Policies

The government has cancelled the prison building programme.and made it clear to all offenders that criminal acts will be dealt with in a less harsh manner, which will include community sentences and reductions in the time actually spent in custody. This has led directly to a looters point of view as broadcast by BBC Radio 4 that "Its my first offence, the prison are full. I'll only get an ASBO, I can live with that, I'll carry on until I'm caught"
This petition is a serious attempt, by the writer to highlght the the consequences of poor judgement and soft approach to law and order.
