Reintroduce National Service
I propose that a modern form of National Service be reintroduced.
This would bring back a sense of discipline and comradeship that is now missing from society.
It would take a large number of youngsters out of the benefit system, we are paying for them anyway, so they might as well be earing a "wage" in service.
The oppotunity could also be used to correct and add to educational attainments.
A side effect would be that a large number of foregn nationals would leave the country and it would also deter others from coming here for a free lunch.
