No 'Knee Jerk' epettions should be considered.

Additional Information

There is a great danger in these times of increased stress that the ease with which epetitions can be created and signed can lead to Parliament having to spend valuable time on well intentioned but ill-considered issues.

This epettion's signatories support returning control of parliamentary debate time to the people most capable of deciding how it should be used - the Parliamentarians themselves.

We want to be governed intelligently - not to control the government on whims sparked on the instant by powerful news stories.

To this end, the number of epetitioners required for a topic to be considered should be increased to a figure considered appropriate by Parliamentarians in a free vote.
