Petition Action

Outlaw Hoodies and Facial Disguises.

Additional Information

To outlaw the use of the hoods (hoodies) or other face disguises and coverings in public or open places regardless of time of year. Exceptional circumstances prevailing (i.e. for religious reasons). To give the Police, PCO's and others of authority the power to report and fine for use of face coverings. It would appear from recent activities (recent riots) that facial coverings are only used to hide themselves from being caught on video units and surveillance capture devices. There are no other reason(s) for wearing such paraphernalia other to disguise ones appearance when committing a criminal act. Children under the age of 16 to be unlawfully permitted into a town centre after 10 pm unless accompanied by an adult of above 21 yrs old.
