Bring Back Conscription
With this time of austerity, reductions in the Armed Forces and the problem of riots in England is it not time to bring back Conscription for the young unemployed and those youths who have been convicted of criminal activities.
It works well in other countries and not only will it install self respect but teach them to respect others.
