Re-Instate National Service for the benefit of our youth
In light of recent disturbances throughout the UK, wouldn't it be a good idea to give our disenfranchised youth the chance to learn a trade / start a career in our armed forces for a period of 3 years?
I'm NOT advocating that the unemployed youth of the UK become 'cannon fodder' for our various 'wars'; just that they learn a little respect & discipline.
