Petition Action

Evict convicted rioters from council provided housing

Additional Information

Why should the tax payer fund the homes of those people who have proved themselves undeserving of that money by taking place in riots across the United Kingdom.

Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg is already on record agreeing with the proposal.

He told BBC London: "I think it's actually right to say if you go out and break the law and you destroy the community in which you live, why should you simply assume that you are going to continue to be supported in living in the way that you are in that community?"
(BBC news website, 2011)

These people should be evicted from their provided housing, to show them that we will not accept their attitude of 'what ya gonna do to me?'
