Petition Action

All convicted looters & rioters to serve community service rebuilding the community

Additional Information

The government should issue community service for those convicted of damaging property during the riots/looting.

Convictions should include repairing and restoring areas where damage has been caused including the cleanup of debris.

Rehabilitation should also be given in the strictest possible way in lieu of prison time. Current convictions range in weeks for crimes which should warrant far harsher punishments. Rehabilitation should include serving the community, committing to unpaid work amongst other things.

It is time to make those responsible for destruction responsible for themselves.
