Convicted London Rioters Should Pay Back the Community
Anyone convicted of being involved in the in the 2011 London riots, should pay back their victims in the local community.
All assets gained through looting, burglary or theft whether of the person or a business should be returned to their victims.
Pay back to the community should involve financial and activity based penalties; fines should be imposed or removal of benefits for compensation and community service be enforced to repair the damage caused; in some cases this should be on top of custodial sentencing.
