Petition Action

reverse extra payment made to single parents with care that used to be paid to government (therefore reduce effect on cuts)

Additional Information

single parents with care that got csa off the absent parent used to get £20 of the csa payment if they were on income support but in 2010 the single parent got all their benefits and were also given 100% of the csa payment so for a single parent with 3 children where the absent parent earns £25000 (average wage of nation) the payment was nearly £5000 which could be used to reduce the effect of cuts the government is planning.

To Recap.. the claimant got all their benefits they were entitled to but in 2010 got a money increase of 100% csa... this is a lot of extra money going to single parents for no real reason...
