Drug Tests for all those seeking Welfare - Just like they do in Florida
Drugs are a HUGE issue and as a Taxpayer I should not have to subsidise drug use.
Welfare recipients should pay for a drug test, the initial welfare payment should be raised to cover the cost of the test—so long as they pass it, that is.
People who fail the test become ineligible for welfare for a year, though this is dropped to six months if they prove that they have successfully completed drug treatment (which they must pay for). A second failed test makes them ineligible for welfare for three years.
Those on prescribed drugs and rehabilitation drugs should provide documented medical evidence!
Its been introduced in Florida and I see NO reason as to why it should not be introduced in the UK!
