Petition Action

Give Parents joint legal responsiblity for crimes committed by children under 16

Additional Information

To make parents criminally responsible for crimes committed by those under the age of 16.

With obvious exceptions for parents who do not have custody of the child, and a defense arguing if they took all preventative measures which could reasonably be expected, etc. prosecutions of those under 16 years of age should, by default, simultaneously be prosecutions of the parent or guardian responsible for them.
