School Crossing Patrols to be funded by sponsorship
School Crossing Patrols are being lost due to financial cuts from the public purse.
Businesses should be permitted to sponsor individual Patrols for an annual fee to cover the full cost of providing the patrol and all ancillary costs.
In return, the business will be permitted to advertise their company or product in a prominent place on the patrols flourescent jacket.
I am sure that some of the large supermarket chains would jump at this chance to be seen as a community spirited business supporter
