Additional Information

Anyone between the ages of 18 - 30 years of age who is not gainfully employed or in full time education and is found guilty of an offence punishable by a prison sentence should be either forced to or given the option of spending the term of the sentence or a minimum of 6 months, which ever is greater, doing unpaid national service in the British Armed Forces.
