Petition Action

Post-riot sentencing that benefits the local community

Additional Information

This petition suggests that H M Goverment urgently considers how to implement extensive local community clear-up and damage restoration that work that would have to be undertaken by all those co cited of offences connected with the recent rioting and looting.

In addition, it is suggested that all offenders be required to wear bright orange workwear designated " riot offender" whilst undertaking such community based service.

This would:
-avoid wasteful prison based expenditure
-show the offenders directly the damage they had acaused to their own communities
