Petition Action

Change of Oath of Allegiance

Additional Information

A Member of Parliament should, at for-most be loyal to the members of the public who have put her/him into Parliament. Thus the Oath should be changed to the public from the Monarch

This is not a petition for the abolishment of the Royal Family, merely a way for making M.P.s more accountable and delivering power to the voters of the U.K.

This petition was rejected

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
